There are sadly no bi youth groups running in the UK at present (November 2003). This has not always been the case and there may well be new groups in future. Certainly there is demand for separate bi youth provision shown both in LGB community research and in the empirical evidence of the demand for the Bi Youth group which ran in Manchester from 1997 - 2000.

biyouth.org.uk has been set up as an archive of materials from past bi youth group work in the UK and as a hub for young bi people looking for bi-positive youth groups and youth-friendly bi groups. It is a "work in progress" and always will be as services come and go, so do forgive us if from time to time links are broken or there are other oddities about the site!

The first national gathering of young bisexual people aged 14 - 25 held in Manchester in June 1998, which attracted publicity in the national bi movement magazine BCN both at the time and in a retrospective piece more recently as part of their "how bisexuals used to live" series. [more]
